The Company

CS Design Software produce powerful online landscape design software based on Autodesk technology – Revit and AutoCAD.  The suite of web-integrated software solutions has been designed and supported by landscape experts over the last two decades and is regarded by landscape architects, garden designers and design professionals across the UK and internationally as the must-have design tools for any landscape professional.

Conceived and developed in partnership with a landscape team, the software development and business management  is driven and directed by Tim Calnan CMLI. Tim and his team have taken the CS Design software suite from stand-alone computer aided design programs to powerful Cloud-integrated BIM resources.  CS Artisan has been continually rebuilt since the early 1990s but always with a focus on delivering an automated information system to improve efficiencies in landscape practice. Embracing current technological advances and mobile working, CSD increasingly deliver services via the web including the NPS, CS Flora, CS Helios and PDTs.  Palette building, enhanced reporting and access to industry standards come as standard to CS ArtisanRV and CS Artisan users providing complete control for project deliverables.

The CS Design Suite is supported by online technical support and an extensive data and technical library. CSD is uniquely placed to deliver the information modelling processes and data collaboration required to comply with evolving Building Information Modelling (BIM) requirements.  In 2015, CS ArtisanRV was launched as the world’s first web integrated landscape solution for Revit, underlining CSD’s position at the forefront of BIM for Landscape.
